Anna Gruesen is an undergraduate student at Boston University Sargent College pursuing a B.S. in Nutrition & Health with a concentration in Exercising Populations (expected May 2026). She will begin her M.S. in Medical Sciences at Boston University in September 2026 as she continues her path toward a career in medicine.
As an intern in the Ishibashi Research Laboratory, Anna is gaining foundational training in basic laboratory protocols and neuroscience research methods. Through this experience, Anna is developing hands-on skills in experimental techniques while learning how translational research can improve clinical outcomes for vulnerable pediatric populations.
