Sophia is a third-year undergraduate student majoring in Biochemistry with a minor in Engineering. She is an intern at the Ishibashi Research Laboratory and is interested in studying pediatric cardiology. She works as a teaching assistant for a genetics laboratory and performs translational research. In the future, she hopes to become a physician-scientist.
